Glitter is a fun way to add color and shine to your crafts. Every project could use a little sparkle, and glittering is such an easy way to do that.
The first step is to paint your wood. For best results, choose a paint color that matches your glitter. Paint desired surfaces and let dry completely.
Pour your glitter over a tray covered with parchment paper. This will allow you to put your excess glitter back into the jar when finished.
Next, paint a third thin coat over the surface you want to glitter.
While the paint is still wet, dip your wood in the glitter. It may take a few times before it is completely covered.
Once completely dry, spray your glitter with using a glossy sealer. Make sure it is glossy, not matte. It will keep your project shiny & sealed.
If you’ve made a mess, don’t stress! Baby wipes will act as a magnet to remove glitter from surfaces and floors. A lint roller will take it out of your clothing.
