Hey everyone! Danielle from the Murray store here, reporting from my college apartment in Idaho. Unfortunately, my apartment is kind of undecorated and a little bit boring, but the other day, I came up with an idea for an elephant banner to make my apartment cuter. Also, elephants are supposed to be good luck, so hopefully this banner helps me out…
After you’ve painted, papered, and distressed all of the pieces, you’ll want to glue the pieces together (for this project I glued the elephant’s ears onto the bodies). To do this, you’ll use the same wood glue that you glued the paper on with. Pour a little bit of glue onto the back of the wood and smooth it out with a sponge brush before gluing it onto the wood.
To finish up, thread the Baker’s Twine through the eye hooks and add some ribbon as an embellishment.
Voila! This decoration could be done with any of our Kid Co shapes and would be cute in any home, apartment, or bedroom. Thanks for reading!
